CNET's weekly roundup of the top ringtones sees T-Pain enter the top 10 and Chris Brown regain his top spot.

Texas native Marin Perez had big culture shock when he moved to the Golden State. After first landing in Orange County, he then moved to San Francisco in 2005 to pursue a degree in journalism from San Francisco State University. He has worked at a few start-ups and dabbled in the print media as well. Marin watches far too much basketball, and he thinks Apple isn't really hip.

Each week, we track the hottest ringtones.

In this week's roundup of Billboard's top ringtones, a new artist has cracked the top 10. His name is T-Pain and his song "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')" has nabbed the 10th spot this week. After its debut at number 16 last week, the catchy R&B tune seems to be gathering momentum.

Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, T-Pain seems to have no problem singing about the digital age; two of his previous hits are titled "Send Me an E-Mail," and "What's Yo Myspace." The last prediction I made turned out to be wrong, but I think T-Pain should be in the top 10 for a while.

Also on the charts, Chris Brown's "Poppin'" has regained the top spot from Rascal Flatts. That makes Brown's song the top ringtone for six out the last seven weeks. Rascal Flatts' "What Hurts the Most" is second, followed by Buck Cherry's "Crazy B****," and Gym Class Heroes' "Cupid's Chokehold."

Nickelback's "Rockstar" edged out 50 Cent's "Candy Shop" for the fifth spot, much to my delight. I've spent too much time griping about how annoying I think 50 Cent's ringtones are, so I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope his song continues to slide.
