Sony is billing Buzz: The Music Quiz as a virtual game show. The game will come with four supplied buzzers, and includes 1000 tunes and 5000 questions to test your musical knowledge. The game's 'compere' is voiced by Aussie actor Jason Donovan.
"Choose your character, grab hold of your buzzer and get ready for a walk through the very best in 50 years of music, from both Australian and overseas artists," a Sony release states.
The game, which is set for release this Christmas, will feature single player and multiplayer modes, and includes quick games or full music quiz challenges. Buzz is the latest attempt by Sony to branch the PlayStation 2's software library in new directions. Previous efforts have included the Singstar and Eye Toy games.
