NBA schedule now lists its VR games for the season

All 30 NBA teams will make an appearance in virtual reality, starting with the Kings versus the Spurs tonight.

The NBA has released its full slate of games to be shown in virtual reality during the 2016-17 season.

As we reported last week, NBA Digital and NextVR are teaming up to present one game a week in VR this season. It's the first time games will be shown in virtual reality by a pro sports league on a regular basis. You'll need a Samsung Gear VR headset for the first wave, though NextVR expects its app to support other headsets soon.

The VR games are available on the NBA's League Pass subscription service. Most of these games will be on Tuesday nights, except for the first such showing -- tonight between the Sacramento Kings and the San Antonio Spurs at the Kings' new tech-heavy arena, the Golden 1 Center -- and a matchup between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Orlando Magic on February 23.

Also, Voke VR will stream tonight's Kings-Spurs pregame show. The Kings own part of Voke. Here's a full list of the NBA's VR broadcast schedule:
