Two popular console titles are about to make a big splash on the PSP, with both the next Tomb Raider and Dragon Ball Z games scheduled for release on Sony's portable player later this year.

Atari has confirmed that the upcoming Tomb Raider: Legend, the anticipated return of video gaming's original cyber sex symbol Lara Croft, will be available on the PSP later this year, along with the PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, Xbox and PC.

Atari is also bringing Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai to the PSP this April. In Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai, players can take on their friends in WiFi multiplayer battles employing all aspects of Dragon Ball Z combat, including counter-attacks, super high-speed bouts, flight and Ki (energy) management. In single player mode players will be able to challenge some of the most evil characters ever seen in a comic-based video game, or to play as the bad guys themselves and become the most feared and powerful warrior in the universe. Other features include a choice of 18 playable characters including prize fighter Pikkon, a Revamped version of the acclaimed "Saiyan Overdrive" fighting system and the ability to perform in-game transformations to more powerful forms.
