GTA 5's soundtrack is all over the Internet, and features rock, pop, rap and pap.

Wondering which tunes will be on the GTA 5 soundtrack? We could have the answers for you right here…

I say "could have" because this tracklist isn't official. The songs have been picked out of a pre-release file that was issued for the game. The file was delivered to PS3 owners in Europe who pre-ordered GTA 5 from the PlayStation Store. It was meant to stop servers being overloaded on release day. Within it is a 42-hour audio track of every radio station in the game, as uncovered by those eager beavers over on GTAForums.com. Crank it up, there are some doozies on here.

GTA games are famed for their soundtracks, and GTA 5 is no letdown, if this list is anything to go by. The usual suspects like N.W.A. and Snoop Dogg are all present and correct, along with Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Steve Miller Band, Rick James and Queen. As before, each station has its own genre, with punk, classic rock, West Coast rap, pop and more. There's also a station called Soulwax FM, playing the electropop outfit's remixes and own productions.

You can see a list of the tracks here. It's not exhaustive, but there's a lot to be going on.

So how genuine is the leak? Well Sony has apologised for it, which suggests it's the genuine article. "Regrettably, some people who downloaded the digital pre-order of Grand Theft Auto V through the PlayStation Store in Europe were able to access certain GTA V assets," the apology reads. "These assets were posted online. We have since removed the digital pre-order file from the PlayStation Store in Europe.

"We sincerely apologise to Rockstar and GTA fans across the world who were exposed to the spoiler content. GTA V is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year with a very passionate following, and we're looking forward to a historic launch on September 17."
