A new multiplayer mode is now available in Grand Theft Auto V's online mode, GTA Online. As announced on the Rockstar Newswire, the Adversary Mode is called Rhino Hunt--and it sounds completely crazy.

In a David vs. Goliath-type scenario, one team of "Hunters" drives around in dune buggies (and other vehicles) and must chuck sticky bombs at a player in a heavily armored Rhino military tank to defeat them.

"Rhino drivers must utilize the sheer strength and firepower of their tank to survive against the onslaught of sticky bombs thrown in their direction," reads a line from the mode's description.

Rhino Hunt is available in three different locations across Los Santos. These were not named outright, but fan videos on YouTube show that the airport is one of them.

Rockstar also did not specify platform availability for Rhino Hunt, though if history is any indication, the mode will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of GTA Online.

Rockstar has now announced that everyone who plays GTA Online's new Rhino Hunt mode will receive double GTA$ and RP through March 3. Additionally, Ammu-Nation, Warstock Cache & Carry, and Merryweather Services are offering the following discounts through the same period of time.

  • Warstock Cache & Carry - 25% off
  • Merryweather Services - 25% off
  • All Assault Rifle ammo - 50% off
  • Select Weapon Attachments - 50% off
  • All Tactical Gear from Heists - 50% off (includes Utility Vests, Rebreathers, Night Vision Goggles and Earpieces)

Finally, the Till Death Do Us Part Adversary Mode and all Freemode events will offer double RP through March 3.

Before this, the Valentine's Day-themed "Till Death Do Us Part" Adversary Mode was the newest multiplayer mode for GTA Online.

In other news about GTA Online, the mode recently enjoyed its best week ever in terms of revenue and the number of people playing it. That could explain why GTA V single-player DLC is nowhere to be seen.
