Today Xbox One owners can get two oldie-but-goody shoot-and-loot games for free.

The Microsoft store has an offer for a free "Borderlands: The Handsome Collection" bundle, which includes enhanced versions of Borderlands 2 (2012) and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (2014). The offer only applies to the Xbox One versions of the game, and requires an Xbox Live account.

The games were well reviewed when they first launched, and the enhanced versions for the new generation of consoles promise improved graphics, four-player split screen on a single TV and lots of additional content beyond the original releases.

It's unclear how long the offer will be available or whether the game will "expire" after a certain period of time. We've asked Microsoft, and will update this article if it replies.

In the meantime, you can get it here.
