Well, at least for Xbox 360 and PS3. It'd only be proper to expect a delay to be announced for PC.
The "Freedom Edition" is the big grandaddy, with a 24cm Connor figurine (that'd be the protagonist), a steel book featuring artwork by Alex Ross, George Washington's notebook with extra bits about the Templars and Assassins thrown in for good measure, a lithograph and two extra single player missions, Lost Mayan Ruins and Ghost of War. There's multiplayer bonuses as well, introducing a character called the Sharpshooter, and bringing an extra relic, emblem and special picture.
The ominous "Join or Die" edition comes with an Assassin medallion, papa George's notebook, the Ghost of War single player mission and the same multiplayer extras as the "Freedom Edition".
The "Special" edition isn't that special compared to the above two offerings, coming with an exclusive single player mission called "A Dangerous Secret" and different packaging. A flintlock musket is also included — of the game type, not the real type.
We're going to hazard a guess that the "exclusive" game extras will be available as paid DLC to those who bought the vanilla version of the game after a certain period of time, but we'll have to wait to find out.
