Want to save some money on an Apple Watch? It may be worth it to invest in one of the older models, which still come packed with great features. The Watch Series 6 launched at $399, but you can get a refurbished model for as low as $250 right now at Woot, while the starting price for a refurbished Watch Series 5 is $190. Your purchase is backed by a 90-day Woot limited warranty, so there's little risk in investing in a pre-owned product that has been repaired by the pros.

But if you want to save big on Apple smartwatches, act fast -- this one-day deal ends tonight.

Both models on sale have the same basic size and design with an always-on display, meaning you never have to raise your wrist or touch the screen to see the time or other information on the watch face. You can easily glance at notifications without interrupting other tasks, making the watch convenient. It's worth noting that the newer Series 6 display is 2.5 times brighter, so if you're outdoors a lot, that may be a better option to invest in.

Both smartwatches are also compatible with the ECG app, which will monitor your heart rate and notify you when irregular heart rhythms are detected. Plus, both have emergency SOS and fall detection, making them a great option for hikers and other outdoor and exercise enthusiasts. The speakers and built-in mics make it possible to take calls and dictate notes and texts right from your wrist, and the swimproof design makes it possible to wear either watch in the pool, during exercise, in the rain and during a shower without issue. An all-day battery life (up to 18 hours on a single charge) means you can keep track of your fitness and sleep with minimal interruption.
