After years of waiting Bathesda's Starfield is finally here and now you can play it -- so long as you have an Xbox or a PC. GameStop is helping you get the former by offering an extra $50 against any Xbox Series X console or bundle when you trade in your old device.

The Xbox Series X is arguably the best way to play Starfield, especially if you want to kick back on the sofa and play on the big screen. And with a huge library of games quite apart from the rather excellent Starfield, it's one of the best consoles out there. And we didn't even mention the incredible value that is Xbox Game Pass Ultimate yet.

This deal will get you up to $105 in trade-in value when handing over your old Xbox One, for example, and that trade-in value will only increase with the more recent hardware that you might have laying around. An extra $50 in your trade-in wallet could mean picking up an extra game, or maybe an additional controller for some couch co-op fun.

The Xbox Series X already has some of the best games around and there are more arriving all the time. Be sure to check out the aforementioned Game Pass Ultimate if you're on the hunt for more titles for a monthly fee, including some day-one hits like Starfield.

Still not convinced? The Xbox Series X can stream all of your favorite content from big-name players and there are plenty of other apps to try, too. But really, who has time when there's Starfield to be played?
