It looks like "Iron Man 3" was Tony Stark's last solo fair in the Marvel Cinematic Universe -- but that's OK, your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is here to pick up the slack.

Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker in the MCU, told the Hollywood Reporter that he's signed on for six films, three of which he'll be the protagonist in.

"I do know I have three Spider-Man movies and three solo movies contracted," he told the publication.

It's unclear if the three other projects he's referencing are "Avengers"-like ensemble films or unrelated Disney flicks, but three Spidey flicks should excite many MCU fans.

After two Sony-run reboots, Spider-Man officially debuted in the MCU in this year's "Captain America: Civil War." His first solo film is next July's "Homecoming."

Marvel Studios was contacted for comment but did not immediately respond.
