I'm a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (you know, the shared universe of films made by Marvel Studios that have collectively grossed over $11 billion at the worldwide box office; yeah, you may have heard of it). And as a fan, I make it a point to rewatch every film in the series once (at least) per year.

As we're up to 15 films now, that's a lot of time to spend doing something that's not making me any money. But I love these movies, and if I could justify watching them 24-7, I would. If there were classes I could take to have an even deeper understanding of them, I'd sign up in a heartbeat. Hell, at this point maybe I should teach the classes .

But it's not enough for me to love them. I want to share why I love them and why some of them are closer to my heart than others. I've ranked all 15 films in the series. Click on the gallery below to see my current ranking. I'll see you all back here in July when "Spider-man: Homecoming" drops is hopefully really really good.

Editors' note: Updated in May 2017 to add Guardians 2 to the list!
