Liv Morgan vs. Ronda Rousey looks to headline Extreme Rules 2022.

WWE

The women are carrying the load at WWE Extreme Rules. This Saturday's pay-per-view features two championship bouts, both of them for women's titles. In what may be the main event, Ronda Rousey challenges for Liv Morgan's SmackDown Women's Championship in an Extreme Rules match. Bianca Belair, meanwhile, is putting up her Raw Women's Championship in a Ladder Match against Bayley.

Extreme Rules is short on star power -- the absence of Roman Reigns and the entire Bloodline is felt -- but looks to be a solid show. Edge and Finn Balor should be terrific, as should Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle's date in the Fight Pit. Sheamus and Gunther had a classic at Clash at the Castle, so the six-man street fight between them and their respective factions should be wild too.

Perhaps what most people are interested in at Extreme Rules is the return of Bray Wyatt. It's not been advertised, but WWE has been playing a subtle game of hinting at The Fiend's return at Extreme Rules. It could be nothing, it could be a swerve, or it could be big. We'll find out Saturday.

Start times

WWE Extreme Rules takes place at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center on Saturday. For those without a live ticket, the show starts at 5 p.m. PT (8 p.m ET). Grappling fans across the pond will have to stay up late, as the show starts at 1 a.m. BST. In Australia, Extreme Rules begins at 11 a.m. AEST on Sunday.

Extreme Rules' full card

  • WWE Raw Women's Championship Ladder Match: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley.
  • Fight Pit: Seth Rollins vs. Matt Riddle.

How to watch: Peacock, WWE Network

As you probably know by now, Peacock is the new home of WWE's pay-per-views. The WWE Network has, in essence, migrated to NBC's Peacock streaming service, and that's where you'll go to watch SummerSlam. Peacock has three tiers: Free, Premium and Premium Plus. To watch WWE content, you'll need a Premium subscription. The good news is, that'll set you back $5 a month, less than the $10 for WWE Network.

If you're outside of the US, you'll watch Extreme Rules on the WWE Network as usual.
