While it's known for hosting vlogs, music videos and excellent animal content, YouTube probably isn't the first place you turn to for full-length movies. However, the video-sharing platform has a number of free, ad-supported films that are worth checking out.
For instance, both critically successful sci-fi horror film The Endless and frequently recommended documentary Jiro Dreams of Sushi can be found on YouTube.
Some of YouTube's free movie offerings are also available to stream for free with ads elsewhere. For example, you can watch the cast of Train to Busan face off with freaky-looking zombies over on Pluto TV, Tubi and The Roku Channel, too.
But assuming you already have YouTube loaded up, here's what to watch now. All of these films received generally favorable reviews or better, according to Metacritic.
- Pleasantville (1998)
- Train to Busan (2016)
