Web site software adds IBM, BEA support

Freshwater Software, which makes software that monitors the health of Web sites, has added support for BEA Systems' and IBM's application-server software. BEA and IBM are the two leaders in the lucrative market for application servers, software that runs e-business and other Web site transactions. Freshwater's SiteScope software monitors companies' e-business infrastructure and alerts systems administrators when problems are found. SiteScope previously supported Oracle's 9i application server, Microsoft's SQL Server database, and software from Broadvision and ATG. Freshwater is a subsidiary of software maker Mercury Interactive.
