SystemSoft (SYSF) today reported third-quarter profits had more than doubled, as the PC card and BIOS system software vendor snapped up additional original equipment maker agreements.

SystemSoft posted net earnings of $1.7 million for the quarter ending October 31, compared with $826,000 for the same period a year ago.

The company's revenue growth, meanwhile, rose to $10.3 million for the quarter, up 67 percent from a year ago.

A rise in revenues came as more customers adopted the SystemSoft technology. The company cited increased agreements with original equipment manufacturers and peripheral makers for its SystemWizard call-avoidance software line.

SystemSoft also rolled out its Universal Serial Bus Software Suite during the third quarter, marking its newest product.
