Short Take: VeriSign expands to Brazil and Korea
VeriSign, an Internet trust services company, today announced the expansion of its global affiliate program to include Certisign in Brazil and CrossCert in Korea. Affiliates combine VeriSign's Internet services with their own e-commerce services to serve customers in their local language, currency, and legal system. Key e-commerce applications that use Internet trust services include employee intranets, supply chain extranets, virtual private networks, and large-scale e-commerce applications such as e-banking, e-brokerage, and e-healthcare.
