Short Take: SCO announces OpenServer enhancements

The Santa Cruz Operation announced enhancements to its OpenServer Unix-based operating system that include the bundling of multimedia server software from RealNetworks, new DHCP and IMAP 4 support, and improved Windows interoperability software. The company also announced that Oracle's applications and database 8.0.4 are available for UnixWare 7.0, and demonstrated a portable device driver for different types of hardware running on a variety of Unix-based operating systems.
