Short Take: PeopleSoft and Commerce One develop electronic sales channel

PeopleSoft and Commerce One today announced they have developed a new electronic sales channel for PeopleSoft customers by integrating the PeopleSoft Order Management module with Commerce One MarketSite, a global marketplace portal connecting buyers and sellers over the Web. The integration allows PeopleSoft customers to supply their products, pricing and inventory availability information to buyers participating in Commerce One MarketSite. Access to MarketSite allows PeopleSoft customers to secure existing relationships with buyers and reduce order processing and transaction costs.
