Short Take: Palm moves into CRM market

Looking to boost its presence inside large companies, Palm said Monday it is working with software providers and systems integrators in the customer relationship management (CRM) market. Among the companies that have developed or are working on products are: Epiphany, FrontRange Solutions, Interact Commerce, International Design and Construction Online, Pivotal, Remedy, and Sales.com. "Through our relationships with these market leaders, we have positioned ourselves to continue as the leading handheld solution provider for the enterprise," Dan Glessner, director of marketing for Palm's business and government division, said in a statement.
