Novell has shipped Novell Internet Messaging System (NIMS) 2.1, an Internet email system, based on its NDS eDirectory, its newest Web-based directory service. NIMS is targeted at corporate customers, Internet service providers and application service providers. Users can get email from other standards-based clients, such as Novell GroupWise, Eudora World Mail Server 2.0 and Microsoft Exchange Internet mail service. Enterprise customers can purchase NIMS for $20 per user.
