MapInfo introduced MapXsite, a mapping package that lets Web developers and ISPs embed "dealer locator" capabilities in Web sites. MapXsite is designed to let a company use its Web site to help customers locate pick-up and drop-off points in unfamiliar areas. Wal-Mart Online has already signed on as a partner.
