Michael Braun is rejoining IBM, as general manager of its consumer division, where he will oversee the Aptiva desktop computer line and the consumer software unit. Previously a 20-year veteran of Big Blue, Braun comes from Neuron Data, where he has served as president and CEO since July 1996. He replaces Jim Firestone, who is joining Xerox after starting the IBM consumer division nearly three years ago.
