Short Take: EBay goes Australian, mate

eBay is taking its person-to-person auctions to Australia and New Zealand, in a joint venture with PBL Online, the Internet arm of Australian media conglomerate Publishing & Broadcasting. The two companies plan to create a customized eBay home page for the users in the region. EBay already has sites for Canada and the United Kingdom.
