barnesandnoble.com has named Jonathan Bulkeley as new chief executive officer. Bulkeley, the former managing director of AOL Bertelsmann's joint venture in Europe, will replace Stephen Riggio, who will assume the post of vice chairman of Barnes & Noble. Riggio will continue to be involved in the strategic direction of barnesandnoble.com, especially as it relates to Barnes & Noble's retail business and future acquisitions.
