ManagedStorage names new CEO
ManagedStorage International, a company that runs complex storage systems for its customers, has named Thomas Sweeney its new chief executive. Sweeney previously was a senior vice president of Level 3 Communications, leading first marketing and then strategic alliances. Level 3 hosts computing infrastructure such as Web sites for its customers in large data centers. ManagedStorage, a spinoff of StorageTek, had been led by Daniel Coetsier.
