It's strictly business with HP's new monitors
HP's new monitors don't take anything personally.
This week, HP unveiled two new business monitors that, unless you're an IT professional looking forward to ordering these things in bulk, won't garner that much excitement.
The problem is, for business monitors, the simpler, the better. The more fancy doodads and gizmos a monitor has, the higher the chances that some Luddite in your office will press the wrong button, switching the screen into some weird mode that only you can get them out of. Unfortunately, most times, this leaves little room for anything cool.
Anyway, HP announced both the LV2011 and LV1911 business monitors. Each monitor includes a LED backlit display and an amazing 3,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, which of course translates into a 600:1 actual contrast ratio at best.
Excited yet? No? Well, maybe this list specs will change your mind. Also, the prices are pretty appealing. The HP LV1911 will be available in March starting at $125, with the LV2011 coming in February for $135.
