Getty Images moving files to one site
Getty Images said Monday that it would place all of the images, photos and film clips it owns on one Web site, Gettyimages.com. The Seattle-based company licenses its more than 70 million images and 30,000 hours of film footage to advertisers, publishers and entertainment companies via 29 different Web sites. Getty Images says it will complete the move sometime next year. The various sites it operates will continue to exist and the content they sell will also be offered on Gettyimages.com.
