Sun Microsystems has moved Robert Youngjohns, formerly executive vice president of sales, to a new job as executive vice president for strategic development and Sun financing.

Bob MacRitchie will take over as acting sales chief, said Sun's new chief operating officer, Jonathan Schwartz, during a conference call Tuesday after the Santa Clara, Calif., company reported a return to revenue growth. The new appointments are among several executive changes made since Schwartz took over the No. 2 post at the struggling software and server maker in April.
