Red Hat names North American sales chief
Lynne Corddry previously worked for Unisys, Network Appliance, Silicon Graphics Inc. and Digital Equipment Corporation.
Linux seller Red Hat has named Lynne Corddry as vice president of North American sales, the Raleigh, N.C.-based company said Friday. She replaces Billy Marshall, who will leave at the end of the month to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities, Red Hat spokeswoman Leigh Day said. Corddry most recently was vice president and general manager of Unisys' federal systems and technology business unit, which had annual revenue of $180 million. She has also worked for Network Appliance, Silicon Graphics Inc. and Digital Equipment Corp.
Corddry reports to Alex Pinchev, executive vice president of global sales at Red Hat. She received a master's degree in marketing and finance from James Madison University and is on the boards of the National Defense Industry Association and the Government Electronics Industry Alliance.
