What's new about Apple Watch Series 2? (The 3:59, Ep. 103)
We take a deeper look at the new "swim resistant" Apple Watch.
Apple's iPhone 7 wasn't the only new hardware revealed by the company Wednesday.
The tech giant also came out with the Apple Watch Series 2, which Apple used to veer away from the luxury focus of last year's model and more toward fitness and sports. The device will be water resistant for up to 50 meters for swimmers and added GPS for runners. Still, like the new iPhone 7, the smartwatch looks very similar to its prior model.
We break down the major changes for the Series 2 and ask whether the device can convince more customers to jump into smartwatches.
The 3:59 gives you bite-size news and analysis about the top stories of the day, brought to you by CNET Executive Editor Roger Cheng, Senior Writer Ben Fox Rubin and Producer Bryan VanGelder.
