Sports enthusiasts now have to look no further than their wrist to get an update on a game. ESPN unveiled its native app for Pebble smartwatches on Thursday that comes filled with football, basketball, baseball, and more game scores.

"The ESPN watch app is a perfect example of how Pebble can take useful, glanceable information we care about, and make it more available and seamless in our everyday lives," Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky said in a statement emailed to CNET. "Sports are a part of many peoples' lifestyle and they want updates in real time."

The app will include scores from major professional leagues and college conferences, including the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and college football and basketball. The app can also track multiple games at once and vibrates for game updates and score changes.

Pebble debuted one of the first smartwatches on the scene after a massive Kickstarter campaign in 2012. Its devices are waterproof, Bluetooth enabled, can alert users to e-mails and social-networking updates, and run apps.

The ESPN app is compatible for both iOS and Android and is now available for download in the Pebble app store.
