Philips PFL5603D - First Take

Although CNET did not review the 52-inch Philips 52PFL5603D, we did review the 42-inch Philips 42PFL5603D. Judging from their spec sheets, the two Philips LCD TVs are very similar but for screen size. The 52-inch model has a slightly higher dynamic contrast spec and a slightly narrower viewing angle spec, but we don't think either one will have a big impact on picture quality, so we expect the review of the 42-incher to give a good indication of how the 52-inch model will perform.
