Xanboo snags $20 million

Xanboo raised $20 million for its second round from investors such as chipmaker Motorola, Lantronix and Virata, the companies announced Thursday, bringing New York City-based Xanboo's total funding to $34 million. Virata also contributed to the round. Lantronix, a maker of networking hardware and software, led the round and will receive two seats on Xanboo's board of directors. Motorola will take one seat. Xanboo makes technology that allows people to control, command and view their home or business remotely over the Internet.
