Worldwide game tourney dates revealed

The United Cyber Games Association announced dates and details Thursday for its $300,000 worldwide PC gaming tournament. Games slated for the tourney include "Starcraft: Brood War," "Quake III: Arena" and "Half-Life: Counter Strike."

U.S. qualifying rounds will be held this month at CompUSA stores in Plesanton, Calif.; Lewisville, Texas; and Soutlake, Ga. Top finishers will advance to the U.S. finals in New York next month, with the best going to the worldwide tournament in South Korea, where $300,000 in prize money will be up for grabs.
