- Trade Balance is the total by which imported goods exceed exports. The September deficit is expected to shrink to $37.5 billion, from $38.5 billion in August.
Wednesday, Nov. 20
- Housing Starts is the total of new home construction projects. The October number is expected to fall to 1.71 million, from 1.84 million in September.
- Initial Claims is the weekly total of new claims filed for unemployment compensation. The total is expected to rise to 400,000 for the week ended Nov. 16, from 388,000 the previous week.
