Week ahead: Betting on the Bahamas
If you're gonna hold a conference on wireless gambling, you might as well increase the odds of people attending by holding it on a beautiful island somewhere.
Take me to the islands. A little fun in the sun is in store for folks attending a wireless-gambling conference in the Bahamas next week, where they'll learn about using cell phones and PDAs to court Lady Luck.
Meanwhile, investors will get a chance to consider the odds before placing their bets, as a number of tech companies gear up to release their quarterly earnings reports. Adobe Systems and Opsware, formerly known as Loudcloud, will be among the tech companies to deliver their results.
