VantagePoint closes $150 million fund

VantagePoint Venture Partners has closed a $150 million fund to serve New York technology companies and has opened an East Coast office. VantagePoint, based in San Bruno, Calif., launched the VantagePoint New York Fund and will focus on data networking, optics, wireless and voice services, and applications. The fund will be operated out of a New York office and received an investment from the New York State Teachers' Retirement System. See complete list.
