TSMC sees slight pick-up over November.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing said this week that sales rose 6.1 percent to $335.3 million in December from November, although December 2001 sales were 35.5 percent lower than sales from the same month a year ago. TSMC is the world's largest maker of chips on behalf of chip designers and other semiconductor specialists that do not have adequate factory capacity of their own.
