Google Street View ventures all the way inside Doctor Who's Tardis, but the Doctor himself is out.

Doctor Who's Tardis has been making cameo appearances on Google Street View for quite some time. Not content to just sit there and gaze at the exterior, Google Street View now goes inside the time and space machine.

You start at the police telephone box Street View location at Earl's Court in London. Click on those subtle double arrows in the middle of the screen and hold on as you're swept inside to the Tardis control room. Good thing the Doctor left the door unlocked.

Once inside, you're free to stroll around, explore, and zoom up close on the instrument panels. Unfortunately, there's no sign of either Matt Smith or new Doctor Peter Capaldi.

If you get tired of wandering around in the Tardis, you can take a break and read the Google reviews for it. "It's bigger on the inside! Fantastic stay! The swimming pool was very relaxing, and sometimes, while I was falling asleep I got the sensation that I was moving!" writes Zoe Paxel.
