Take me to the moon

A Google software engineer has answered the age-old question of whether the moon is made of cheese.

As part of a birthday wish on a post-it note, the engineer and some cohorts at Google developed Google Moon, commemorating the launch of Apollo 11 that occurred 36 years ago today.

But curious space buffs, upon closer examination of the moon, will find what appears to be cheese on the highest zoom setting. Google Moon was a project that launched in one week, and one that seemed to capture the imagination of even the quirkiest space explorers.
