Symantec has completed its $209 million buyout of security policy compliance specialist BindView Development, the company said Monday. The companies in October.
BindView, based in Houston, develops software that's designed to automate security policy compliance in organizations with a large number of computer systems that are not centrally located. Companies are under pressure to use such technologies to help comply with financial reporting regulations such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
