While we wait around impatiently for the new " Star Wars: The Force Awakens" movie in December, we'll take any morsel of information we can get revealing details.

In an interview with Costco Connection, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy explained that the new main Star Wars movies, such as "The Force Awakens," are referred to as Saga and will be mostly about the Skywalkers, while the spinoffs, like " Rogue One," are called Anthology films and will tell the stories of new characters.

"The Saga films focus on the Skywalker family saga," Kennedy said. "The stories follow a linear narrative that connects to the previous six films. 'The Force Awakens' follows 'Return of the Jedi' and continues that generational story.

The Anthology films offer opportunities to explore fresh characters, new storylines and a variety of genres inside the Star Wars universe."

This tidbit of information gives the impression that we may be getting more stories from new Skywalker family members showing up in not only "The Force Awakens" but also the upcoming Episode VIII (coming out in 2017) and Episode IX (coming out in 2019).

Fans are already speculating that the new character Rey (played by Daisy Ridley) is the daughter of Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Han Solo (Harrison Ford), could this mean we might also get to meet children father by Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in future Star Wars Saga movies?

To be honest, I'm still hoping that one of the future Saga films has Luke Skywalker meeting his future wife and mother of his child, Mara Jade.

But since Lucasfilm revealed last year that the previous Star Wars Expanded Universe books and comics would not be heavily influencing future films it's anyone's guess who the future Skywalker family members could be.
