Cellular carrier Sprint on Tuesday announced nationwide availability of PalmOne's Treo 600 sans the digital camera. The device is available only from Sprint. It's aimed at businesses looking to address security concerns.

The Treo 600 is a combination cell phone and organizer with a keyboard and allows device owners to surf the Web, access e-mail and make voice calls. Sprint device costs $599.99 without a camera. Sprint will continue to sell the version with a built-in camera.
