Short Take: VRML Consortium elects board

The VRML Consortium elected a 14-member board of directors. The board includes individuals from Netscape Communications, Silicon Graphics, Sony, Apple Computer, Oracle, Black Sun Interactive, Microsoft, IBM, and Brown University. A key objective of the consortium is to develop VRML conformance tests to ensure interoperable, consumer-ready VRML products, including browsers, tools, and applications.
