Ramp Networks of Santa Clara, California, has received a $6 million order for its Net access technologies from the People's Republic of China. The country has strict Net content regulations, but is beefing up its online access infrastructure. Ramp will provide China with its WebRamp M3, a device that lets users browse the Web "up to three times faster than previously possible using existing analog phone lines."
