Short Take: Tribune Company invests in SuperMarkets Online

Tribune Ventures, an investment arm of media giant Tribune Company, has taken a stake in SuperMarkets Online, which creates online coupons that can be printed out and used at participating stores. Terms of the investment were not disclosed. Tribune Ventures has made a number of investments in Internet companies, including iVillage, Peapod, and Excite.
