Short Take: Tivoli and Marimba to cooperate
Tivoli Systems and Marimba announced they will incorporate each others' technology in order to distribute and manage software over the Net. Marimba's Castanet software will be integrated with Tivoli's TME 10 Software Distribution and Inventory applications, allowing administrators to push software updates across internal intranets as well as the public network. Tivoli also pledged to resell Marimba's Castanet product as part of the agreement.
