Bellevue, Washington-based SuperCede, a maker of Java development tools, has named Tom Van Horn its new president and CEO. Horn is joining the company as it prepares to release SuperCede 2.0, its latest Java development environment, which will be available later this month. He succeeds Ralph Derrickson, who has served as the company's interim CEO since November1997.
