Short Take: Sports site raises $11 million

SportsYA, a sports site for Latin America, Spain, and Latinos in the United States, said today it raised $11 million dollars from investors including IMG/Chase Sports Capital, Chase Capital Partners, Flatiron Partners, Ventech and Radio Unica. The privately held Miami-based company, founded in 1998, also said it will work with Radio Unica to jointly promote shared content. The investment will help the company expand further into the Brazilian market.
